I know tennis insights have posted some - he registered a 9.9 (!) in one of his matches and has overall been absolutely destroying off that wing.

Averaging 9.3 for the tournament

Has Ruud maintained the higher BH technique that he improved on last year or has it reverted? On TV seems to have almost reverted.

Yeah looks back to his old motion, which is why I was looking for data on his cross/line ratio. Feel like he's been content hitting cross a lot with discipline, but that line backhand is a feature of so many top players right now. Tommy Paul used his to great effect against Ruud

It's almost funny how Berdych's quads have been reborn in Lehecka. I'll always remember Berdych fondly, because he is the very first player I ever saw at the US Open -- I can't recall the year, but I do remember it was in the Grandstand and lordy, could Tomas hit the tar off the ball. Still the cleanest ballstriker I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in person.

This is one of the best IW I've kept up with. On the women's side, Emma Navarro is having a magical run.
